My job description is to delight and inspire locals and visitors through vivid visual stories of the most rare and endangered places, plants and birds that make Hawai’i such a special place.
Over the past 20 years, the marketing focus of palm trees and plumeria as symbols of Hawai’ian paradise is changing. As people invest more time and resources in cultural and environmental immersion experiences, a deeper desire to know and feel connected to places has taken root in in our culture.
My art invites people into a genuine experience of Hawai’i- rooted in the natural environment, culture and history.
Licensing Art
My partners license my art for these purposes:
- Decor for resort rooms and other public places.
- Images and motifs from my art used to create surface pattern designs for clothing or products. Or, I can work with my surface pattern designer to create specific pattern designs.
- Images for tees and other products.
- Art for book covers and product labels.
Commissions
I do occasional commissions when the theme fits with my area of focus and my schedule allows time.

How to License my art
- Share a synopsis of your idea or project. If you have already selected the art you need we can move ahead with a contract.
- I will help with sizing the art and other details.
- I will amend my licensing contract to fit your project. The contract is an agreement that gives you specific rights and a time period for the use of the art.
- I will send you a digital file of the art.
