Description

Chinese Astrology is one of my go-to references in my quest to understand the people in my life. Each of the twelve animals associated with the lunar calendar are an expression of a specific constellation of qualities that contribute to our individual uniqueness.

The Chinese new year begins on February 12, 2021 featuring the ox as its representative. Ox are among the most dedicated, loyal, practical and purpose-driven of the 12 Chinese animal signs. Most of us are entering 2021 with hopes for a better year, and the ox is associated with prosperity and gaining forward traction. This will be a good year to balance wild creativity with an orderly and strategic approach, along with a focus on being realistic and taking practical action.

This ox is gazing up at the heavens and basking in the light of the moon and stars as a symbol of the hope and inspiration that we need after weathering the challenges that most humans experienced in 2020.
