Lauaʻe

Appreciated for its beauty and fragrance, Lauaʻe is a forest fern that was traditionally used to scent freshly-made kappa cloth, strung in pandanus leis, and used for body adornment by kahiko hula dancers. In modern times it is used in decorative indoor foliage arrangements and in landscaping.
